SUMMER CAMPS AT SEGO LILY
CHILDREN’S GARDEN 2015
This
year, we will be holding 3 weeks of Summer Camp in July, July 6 - 9, July 13 - 16, and July 20 - 23, for 4 and 5 year old children. Amanda Jacobs and Annie Thomas, our very capable
assistants will join Ms. Tiger.
Camps
run Monday through Thursday of each
week and are in session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a sizeable morning snack served first thing each morning and a hot lunch served at noon each
day. Hopefully, students will be able to
enjoy a quiet and shady afternoon at home or playdating indoors with a
friend. It is simply too hot here in the
Moab summer to have camps continue into the afternoon – even in our shady schoolyard.
We
shall be maintaining a rhythm similar to what we have done in past years at
camp: snack (combined with an Adventure, followed by
activity/crafts, then story/journaling with daydream time/meditation following,
free play, lunch and then a little more free play. Some of the activities/crafts we will teach
are: bookbinding and papermaking, archery, journaling, baking, watercolor
painting, puppetry, sewing, kite building, plant dyeing, wet felting and form
drawing.
The
tuition for each week will remain at $100 per week per child and includes all
supplies and food. Tuition is due the first day of camp or sooner.
Our
themes for the weeks are:
July 6 - 9: Water, water, everywhere
July 13 - 16: Flora & Fauna all around
July 20 - 23: The heavenly bodies: stars, planets, & meteors
